What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are synthetic eyelashes applied to natural eyelashes. The purpose of this application process is to create a fuller, darker lash line that looks natural and feels like your own eyelashes! The eyelash extensions are applied to your natural eyelashes and not your skin. Each client receives a customized set of eyelash extensions matched for their particular eye shape, natural eyelash health, and lifestyle.

Why does the eyelash extension application process take so long?

Properly applied eyelash extensions do not cause damage to your natural eyelashes. A well-trained eyelash technician will isolate one natural eyelash to adhere to the synthetic eyelash extensions. Each individual has 90-120 natural eyelashes per eye on average so the process of isolating natural eyelashes one by one is a lengthy process. This process ensures that the health of your natural eyelashes is not compromised.

What are the different eyelash extension application methods?

Classic: 1:1 application with one synthetic eyelash extension and one natural eyelash.

Volume: Application of handmade fans of ultra-thin synthetic eyelashes onto natural eyelash. This eyelash type is softer because the individual eyelash extensions are super fine. This option can hide gaps in the lash line if you suffer from thin or sparse natural eyelashes.

What are the different classic eyelash extension types?

Classic lashes are available in regular and flat lashes. Regular classic lashes mimic hair and are tubular while flat lashes are pressed flat for a bolder mascara effect.

What are the different lengths and curls for eyelash extensions?

Curls from least to most curly: J-B-C-CC-D and L, L+

Lengths vary from 7mm-20mm depending on styling. The average set tends to be 8-12mm. The lengths are customized for the client's desired look.

How do I maintain eyelash extensions?

Your natural eyelashes go through a shedding phase like the rest of the hair on your body. As your natural eyelashes shed a new lash will grow in its place. You will need to come in for fills every 2-3 weeks to maintain volume with your eyelash extensions. New eyelash extensions will be applied to the new growth during the fills.

How do I clean my eyelash extensions?

When you book a full set you will receive information on how to clean your lashes along with a bottle of lash cleanser. You will gently dry your lashes by patting them gently and then brushing with the clean mascara wands. It is very important that you keep oil off of your lashes as well as clean your lashes daily for better retention.
